My Wedding Day - Part II

Wednesday, 6 May 2009

For Chinese weddings, we normally have the fetching of the bride session and tea ceremonies in the morning then a wedding banquet at night. Our wedding banquet was held at the grand ballroom of a hotel in Kuala Lumpur. To make it a fun and memorable event, we had a theme for our wedding - Shanghai Night. We decorated the ballroom foyer and the ballroom with lots of red lanterns and red drapes, and the bridal party all wore something Chinese.

This is the ballroom foyer where the cocktail reception was held. The ice sculpture was suppose to be a Chinese character - double happiness.
