For Chinese weddings, we normally have the fetching of the bride session and tea ceremonies in the morning then a wedding banquet at night. Our wedding banquet was held at the grand ballroom of a hotel in Kuala Lumpur. To make it a fun and memorable event, we had a theme for our wedding - Shanghai Night. We decorated the ballroom foyer and the ballroom with lots of red lanterns and red drapes, and the bridal party all wore something Chinese.
